I had my new brackets on today. I got my braces off last week and I felt good about it. For a while, I did not see my smile without wearing any braces..
There was still a gap, though, so I need to wear them again until the good positioning is over. Since I transferred here in the US, my orthodontist needs to redo the position of my brackets (and make them new) and change my upper molar bands. And I got a lot of compliments from my ortho and his assistant today: “You have a proper hygiene, the gums are healthy. Guess you’re not new with the rules on braces, are you? We did the positioning so quickly!” (They don’t know that it takes half an hour to an hour for me to clean my teeth when I’m not in a hurry: pre-mouthwashing, toothbrushing, tongue brushing, flossing, final mouth washing)
And now, they gave me a prevident gel.. it is something that contains fluoride and it helps the enamel become stronger.. chuchu.. basta yun.. pampatagal sa oras ko na naman
Ayun, I’ll be glad when this will be over. I know it’s not really a necessity to have braces (oo na, arte na rin ito kung tawagin!) but when the treatment is done and you see your jaw and teeth in proper position, it gives you a killing smile
that adds up more confidence to you. Agree?
Yah, my mom agreed.
.. she agreed na arte lang ang braces… hahaha!
